The Shrewsbury Institute for Agricultural Education provides opportunities to learn traditional and innovative ways of farming organically, through classes and workshops on permaculture, sustainable logging, growing medicinal plants, producing raw milk, cheese making, and other topics.
The Institute is a non-profit organization that follows the principles of Holistic Management. It is run by a Board of Directors, who are all Shrewsbury neighbors and farmers.
